History of the Company

OMI Gaming has been around since 2012, when it was founded in Stockholm, Sweden. In fact, at the time of writing this review, the company headquarters are still based here.

Online casino play was growing rapidly throughout Europe in 2012 and, as such, OMI Gaming needed to find a unique selling point.

OMI gaming decided to focus specifically on mobile capability, making sure that all of its games work well on mobile applications.

This decision has paid off in the long-run, as more and more gamblers opt to use their mobile phone for any gambling.

In 2012, it launched the well-known casino software ‘Kazura Casino Module’, which was then nominated for some of the top industry awards. The following year they made the list of ‘Totally Gaming Awards’ for Manufacturer of the Year, as well as being put forward for the ENG Casino Supplier of the year award.

OMI Gaming Casinos

At the time of writing this review, there aren’t all that many casinos that currently offer OMI Gaming games for you to play. We could only find six casinos that currently offer OMI Slots.

These include Guts Casino, CasinoLuck, Jetbull, Play Grand, and NextCasino.

This limited number of casinos is disappointing, given the fact that OMI casino offers a whole range of table and slot games to choose from, all of which utilise high-quality graphics and fun animations throughout its portfolio.

Game Variety

When it comes to game variety, OMI Gaming doesn’t produce any table games under its own name. However, the software module that it developed, Kaziro Casino software, does provide a platform for other operators to deliver table games.

To that end, players can play craps, blackjack, roulette, and keno as well as other games, despite not being provided by OMI Gaming directly.

Unfortunately, there are no live casino titles from OMI Gaming at present. Based on experience, we wouldn’t hold out much hope that this will change any time soon, given that OMI Gaming’s main priority is slot games that work across all platforms.

There are, however, two scratch card games that have been included alongside the slots offered in its gaming portfolio.

Best slots by OMI Gaming

Despite having a relatively small slot offering, OMI Gaming is still able to provide a range of unique games for passionate slot players. Here are a couple of our top picks.

Jungle Fruits

Jungle Fruits is a 3-row, 5-reel slot with ten different pay lines, as well as a progressive jackpot. Simply get five banana symbols on the reels of an active pay line to win this jackpot.

There are also a range of fun icons, wilds and scatters as part of this slot game.

Tres Hombres

This western-inspired offering is full of fast-action and fun gameplay. The animation is on the conventional side, but the features in the game make up for anything lacking in that department otherwise.

There are 243 pay lines, five reels, and bonus games on offer.

FAQ

What games are on offer from OMI Gaming?

As mentioned previously, OMI Gaming doesn’t actually produce any table games itself. However, it is responsible for many of the games that you know and love through the software module that it has pioneered. This module has been put to good use by other operators in order to develop some of the world’s best table games. The games offered by OMI Gaming are offered only indirectly.

Where can I play OMI Gaming games?

As mentioned previously, there’s only a little over a handful of Casinos that offer OMI Gaming games. This is a little disappointing for a player that’s been in the business for almost a decade, but if you are in the mood to hunt them down, they are certainly worth the effort. Be sure to check out Play Grand, NextCasino, Guts Casino, CasinoLuck or Jetbull. You won’t regret you did.

How long has OMI Gaming made online casino games?

OMI Gaming was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2012. While other operators have gotten itchy feet and have relocated its headquarters (often being forced to move due to operational costs), OMI Gaming has remained rooted to the spot. That’s commendable in an age of globalisation and footloose industry.
